Work Permits
Please PRINT and complete the Work Permit Application. Once completed and everyone (student, parent/guardian, and employer) have signed, please scan and email to Mr. Brian Lindeman at [email protected] He will then process your work permit and email it back to you. By applying for a work permit you are agreeing to the following:
- No student shall be issued a work permit until the student's parent/guardian, foster parent or residential shelter services provider has filed a written request with the district (Education Code 49110)
- Approval of a work permit is contingent on evidence of satisfactory grades (2.0 or higher) and satisfactory attendance (AR 5113.2(a))
- After receiving a work permit , the student's records shall be periodically inspected to assure grades and attendance are satisfactory (AR 5113.2(a))
- A work permit will be revoked whenever the superintendent or designee determines that employment is impairing the student's health or education (Education Code 49164)
